First day of our month (or so) long RV vacation. After issues with the RV (the refrigerator. Again.) we got stuff squared away and left this morning as planned. It is Jim’s birthday. He’s 65 today.

We left home about 9am and took back roads north into Alabama, stopping at a really nice rest area, which we fondly remember from our move to Florida.

We also stopped at Walmart in Troy, Alabama, for sandwiches from Subway and to get two leashes as we’d forgotten to bring them for Cody and Baylee. If that’s the worst thing we forgot, we done good!

We arrived at Lakeside RV Park in Opilika, Alabama (just shy of the Georgia border on I85) about 3pm local. We’re now relaxing with some wine.
