J&J’s Adventures 5

Jim spent much of yesterday putting in a plug that we can  use here at his mom’s for the RV. Yay, we now have power.  Today and probably tomorrow as well, he’ll work on getting her well pump going so we can have water. Now we are using what is in our water storage area.  I’d like to keep that just for drinking water than using it for dishwashing and the potty.

Went to his older sister’s house for dinner last night. Her husband and son were off on a racing day (driving a race car) so we were relaxed and easy. It was Jim, me, Sheila (Jim’s sister), Lisa (his niece) and Brenda who is married to Shiela’s son.

Mom wouldn’t go instead she sat home and pouted. Oi families.

Mom is also now refusing to go fishing with Jim for any made up excuse she can think of. This she has been whinging about for a year, that no one will take her fishing. Here’s her opportunity and now she’s saying she won’t go. As a result, no idea what we’ll do.  Maybe just drive over to the beach one day to see it – its where we were married and where we loved to go camping and fishing.

Planning to stay here at least until next weekend, and then no idea if we’ll go elsewhere or head home.

Looks like my friend Stacie is enjoying the hell out of staying at our house on the Bayou. Good for her.
