majkia: (cuppa)
I usually buy a 'Christmas' tea or two, just because I love the holiday smells they invoke.

One I bought this year is Hot Cinnamon Spice

Having my first cuppa this morning since it is cold here for us, 6C/43F.

It has a fabulous aroma, apparent the moment you break the seal on the tin. And brewing it was even stronger. Smells like gingerbread cookies, perhaps or mulled cider.

The taste is a bit stronger than a chai, and as you sip the aroma is enhanced.

Quite strong enough for those of us who like their tea white of a morning.

Highly recommended!

I'm not a great tea drinker (when I turned three years old and had my own tea ration I had my cup of tea, and that was it apart from after swimming in the sea for many decades) but Whittards does a lovely "Christmas Pudding Tea" that even I enjoy.

They only have it at Christmas, and not every year. It comes in a fancy tin which is worth keeping when the tea is gone.
