Our Supervisor of Elections just announced a special election to replace our crooked State Senator who had to resign. He's facing criminal indictments (YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!).
So will be doing election things like mad for the month, since I'll be clerking on the actual election day, working early voting (only one week this time thankfully) and training poll workers.
Poor Jim. He's having his second eye surgery on the 11th and I have to be in a training session. We'll have to sweet-talk a friend to take him to the hospital and fetch him home. Since it's his second eye surgery, neither of us are very worried about it, since we both know what to expect.
FYI - my icon is totally appropriate. The guy is a Republican. So was our crooked sheriff who is currently in jail.
