Religion - Again

There is nothing more unsettling (at least for me) than seeing someone I know and respect and live near suddenly start spouting 'one true God' bullshit along with commentary regarding the Gulf War and how we taught them heathen a lesson. (I'm rather doubting we've taught them a damn thing but rather the other way round if they're rationally looking at the facts.) I know a lot of people think that way, but it's mostly subtext not flat out said aloud and in semi-public, and mostly it's said by people I don't personally know. But when it's this close to home? Argh...
