Went out to dinner with family which was nice. Earlier Jim and I drove around and explored the city of Washington (NC not DC) which has a nice waterfront where old gingerbread Victorian houses are being saved and gentrified.

Also, in our travels passed through Bear Grass again and saw the road called “Five Cent Road.” Turns out this is were the still was and apparently the hotspot for selling rotgut home made liquor. We’ve wondered just what was ‘five cents.’ A pint, a quart, a gallon??

Have the air turned off this evening, as it is very nice out and quite cool. Let’s hope things stay that way!
