Day 7–Blast of the Past RV Tour

We left rainy Hillsville VA and drove into Charlotte VA to visit our friends Pete and Carol.

Here’s the first sunshine we saw that day, as we were approaching Charlottesville.

And here we are camping at the Charlottesville KOA:

We visited our friends who, perhaps unsurprisingly, hadn’t changed very much at all. It was great to see them.

We came back to the campground, and Jim built a fire. Then we cooked hotdogs over the fire and called that dinner. Tired now, probably going to bed early.

We’ll leave for North Carolina and Mom’s house in the morning.
